I didn’t open all of my mail last night, as I knew the Chrome autos had arrived and I wanted to focus on those. Plus it gave me something to write about earlier in the day. I’ll post again this afternoon or tonight after today’s mail comes, as there should be a different kind of surprise coming.

Anyway, first up we have a nice envelope stuffing TCDB trade with user @Mike305. Both of us sent out 12 cards in PWE, and every one of them was a Tampa Bay Ray. That’s fun. This was also a very quick trade as this user is just up the road in Arlington. So the cards didn’t have very far to travel. I was quick to accept this trade because I was able to swap out more 2020 base for my first 2019 Bowman Prospect cards in the set. I didn’t collect any Bowman last year, so these are welcome additions and a nice start. @Mike305 also sent some more 2015 base. Thanks for the trade Mike, you’ve helped get my set totals up to:

Next is a simple 2:1 TCDB swap with user @Firemedic1242. A couple of 2020 Heritage ATLANTA BRAVES cards went out, and this 2019 Gold Label Johnny Bench Class 2 came back my way. I have always liked Gold Label, and I am putting together a modified master set. This will consist of all base cards in class 1-3, all black cards class 1-3, and a representative blue and red for each player. This one is going to be a bear, but with patience it will be done. To wrap thing up, we have some very generous cards from the Sunday Twitter gift threads. My friend @1brightman1 sent me these two 2020 Heritage New Age Performer cards, bringing that insert set up to 88% complete. I have interacted with Steve on numerous occasions since finding the Twitter baseball card community. He is always willing to help collectors find the cards they want or need. Which is highly appreciated. Thanks Steve!

Also we have this really nice 2020 Bowman Sterling Refractor card of Sam Hilliard from Twitter user @gmb1326. This is the first Bowman Sterling card I have, but I won’t bother going for the set. I’ll be happy to just collect the Rockies cards. And according to the checklist, it’s just Hilliard. So I guess for the Refractors, I’m done!. Thanks for the card Greg!
